Austrian injection molding machinery maker Engel recently opened its second facility in Mexico, located in the Metro area of Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, to better serve customers in the Northern region of the country.

The new site is located in San Pedro Garza García, Nuevo Leon, where two sales person and four service technicians form the initial team.

In addition to the offices, there’s a conference room with the latest technology for online training. At the opening of the offices, Engel de Mexico’s Manager Peter Auinger showed the new possibilities with a live broadcast from Queretaro.

Through Engel's e-connect.24 service tool, an injection molding machine was remotely controlled from the technology center of the Mexican headquarters.

Engel opened its own sales and service subsidiary in Mexico back in 1996. By 2010, the operations were moved from Mexico City to Queretaro and significantly expanded by adding a machine technology center and spare parts warehouse.
