The development of Mexico City's New Airport will feature, as part of its strategic areas, a cargo terminal five times larger than those being used in the current airport, equipped with train and road connections to allow efficient transportation of merchandise. "The new logistic hub will include a terminal ad hoc with the international trade growth" said Federico Patiño, Director of Mexico City's Airport Group (GACM). "This project includes public and private funding, so the freight zone will have an efficient infrastructure with train outputs", stated the executive.
