MEXICO CITY — As of October 1st, Interjet will begin operating its routes from Cancun to Guayaquil and Ecuador, on a daily basis. Similarly, as of October 29th, another route will debut to this same South American destination, but from Mexico City.
With these two new routes, the Mexican airline will reach a total of 24 international destinations in 10 countries.
The flights will be operated with A320 equipment, which has a capacity for 150 passengers; the Mexican airline will offer a total of 4,200 weekly seats between Mexico and Ecuador.
As part of the same expansion strategy, the Mexican airline will also begin operating its Mexico City-Quito route starting on October 29th on a daily frequency.
