Investing US$1.5 million to boost the fashion industry in Mexico

Investment funds both from government and private, including Mexico's National Institute of the Entrepreneur (INADEM), will invest roughly US$1.5 million to create the platform Fashioning Mexico. This project is aimed at creating a national fashion system to support brand creation, boost existing brands, while strengthening Mexico's value as a country brand. The fashion industry in this Country is made up by roughly 20,000 companies, most of them SMEs according to data by the National Chamber of Dress (CANAIVE).
