Investment by Peñoles in Coahuila valued at US$ 730 million

Industrias Peñoles and its subsidiaries are investing this year around US$ 3 billion, thus accumulating investment worth over US$ 9 billion in recent years. “We have important growth in the metalworking division, we had an expansion at the zinc plant in Torreon, with investment of roughly US$ 350 million, and we have expanded the energy division, too, with the wind energy park, which represented a US$ 300 million investment”, informed Fernando Alanis Ortega, Director of Industrias Peñoles.
