Graco Ramirez Garrido Abreu, President of Mexico's National Governors Conference (CONAGO), stated that Mexico has imported products valued at US$34 billion from China so far during this presidential period, whereas Chinese investment in Mexico has not amounted as much, but it is a good time to balance the two tallies. Mr. Garrido Abreu proposed to develop protocols to import pieces and components made in China which could be integrated to the automotive, electronics and aerospace supply chain that Mexico maintains with EEUU and Canada.
