Italian appliance manufacturer inaugurates plant expansion
Elica Group inaugurated the expansion of its plant, with investment valued at US$5.3 million. Francisco Dominguez Servien, State governor, affirmed that the expansion will support increasing operations at this kitchen equipment and home appliance motors producing factory. The Italian origin company generates jobs for over 700 people, with evident success after ten years of presence in Queretaro, said the Head of State, after sharing that the development of the appliance sector in the region has made a leap forward in competitiveness and technology to evolve its production. The general director of Elica Mexico, Luis Dorador Dibildaxs, predicted a bright future for Grupo Elica with this 10,000 square meters expansion of its plant, which will grow its industrial production by 25%, along with the 6,500 square meters of roads, to benefit workers with better service areas.
