Jalisco, one of the most attractive states for foreign investment

Jose Palacios Jimenez, Secretary of Economic Development (SEDECO), informed that Jalisco is one of the states in Mexico to attract the most foreign investment. It is a favorite for many countries around the world. Jalisco captured 43% more foreign capital during the January-March 2017 period, compared to the October-December 2016 period, according to data from the Ministry of Economy. This puts Jalisco in the second place in Mexico with the most new investment (US$153.3 million), right behind Mexico City, with an add-up of US$511 million.
