Japan-based auto supplier Fukoku inaugurates US$ 10 million plant in Guanajuato

Japan-based auto supplier Fukoku inaugurated a new US$ 10 million plant in central state on Guanajuato aiming to manufacture brake parts to the growing automotive industry.

Fukoku will provide rubber pads and seals to clients like Akebono, Nissin Brake and Mitsuba, which in turn supply autoparts to carmakers Toyota, Honda, Nissan and Mazda.

Al least 90 jobs were created in order to start running the facility

Masahiko Tsubota, President of Fukoku Mexican, explained that the company decided to stay in Guanajuato due to infrastructure services, educational facilities, climate and location.
