Japan, main commercial partner for Guanajuato

Japan has established itself as the main commercial partner for the State of Guanajuato, with investment valued at US$3.48 billion allocated to set up 71 plants to generate over 23,400 jobs. Some of the Japanese capital companies with operations in Guanajuato are: Honda, Mazda, Hirotec, Kasai, Mitsubishi, among others. With this, the initial economic expectations have been surpassed, by exceeding the goal for investment attraction which was set at US$5 billion and 49,000 jobs, but has already reached US$10.42 billion and 75,500 jobs through 224 confirmed projects.
