Japanese Company Minamida is building a plant in Guanajuato

With a US$ 1.5 million investment during the first stage, the Japanese company Minamida will become installed at the Leon-Bajio (Pilba) Industrial Park, located in this municipality. Minamida Corporation was founded in Japan in 1933 and it initially was dedicated to massive production of long nails for different industries, but nowadays it manufactures micro fabricated cold-forge auto parts, nuts and bolts. And even though this Company's initial investment is US$ 1.5 million, with expectations to generate 30 jobs, there is a project to grow up to US$6 million invested and 180 jobs created. This new plant will be delivered in April 2018.
