Kenworth delivered the first electric T680 to the Trayecto Group

MONTERREY, NL -The first battery-electric tractor-trailer in Mexico has arrived with the Kenworth T680E, a unit with great power, configured with electric rear axles of up to 536 horsepower and peak power of 670 horsepower.

This unit has regenerative braking to recharge batteries and a capacity of 36 tons of gross combined weight, capable of starting on slopes of 25% and a range of 240 kilometers.

"PACCAR Mexico is ready to offer clean energy vehicles to those seeking to reduce polluting emissions to the environment," the company said after delivering the unit to Grupo Trayecto.

After-sales service for this model will be provided by Kenworth Tractocamiones de Monterrey through its recently opened Santa Catarina branch, which has an electric charger to recharge the batteries of this unit, as well as training to provide the necessary specialized service.
