KKR completes acquisition of Calsonic Kansei, five Mexican plants included

Investment firm KKR announced that it has completed its deal to acquire Japan-based auto supplier Calsonic Kansei Corporation, including the 41% of the company previously owned by Nissan.

KKR now owns 95.21% of the existing common shares of Calsonic Kansei, and plans to acquire the remaining common shares.

Calsonic Kansei operates 5 plants in Mexico, three in the state of Aguascalientes, one in Durango and one in Mexico City.
