La Costeña announces investment for process automation

In the framework of of the celebration of 95 years of operation in La Costeña, the General Director of the Company Rafael Celorio, said that the Food Company is carrying on with its investment plans, including process automation. The Firm, which is currently generating 3,500 direct jobs in Mexico, is going to have a new warehouse with these features, informed the Executive at the end of a tour through the Ecatepec plant. La Costeña is now producing over 80 different lines of products, with a total of six plants located in the State of Mexico, Sinaloa and San Luis Potosi; as well as another one in Aconcagua, Chile, and two other in the US in the states of Arizona and Minnesota. In 2015, La Costeña opened offices in Australia, Dubai and the Arab Emirates, in addition to the ones opened in China in 2000.
