Lagos de Moreno attracting investment from automotive suppliers

The Colinas de Lagos industrial park is consolidating the municipality of Lagos de Moreno as a pole of attraction for investment, thanks to projects worth nearly US$ 1 billion from 20 companies of the automotive supply sector, primarily from Germany and Japan. There are records of 2,656 jobs created in the first semester this year. Even though Lagos de Moreno received the Pueblo Magico distinction from the federal government in 2012, its current economic vocation is more industrial than touristic, besides the automotive park.
