Lexus celebrates the launch of the new LC 500 in Mexico

MONTERREY, NL - The youngest luxury car brand in the world, Lexus, from Japan's Toyota, is conquering Mexico, since only 21 months after arriving in the country it already has a 5.4% market share and this is being celebrated with the launch of its new sporty jewel: the LC 500.

Lexus presented in Monterrey, where it has the largest presence, its eighth luxury model in Mexico in its two versions, the LC 500 Coupe and LC 500 Convertible, a sports car that promises to be a collector's item, since only 60 units will be on sale for 3 years, 20 per year.

Guillermo Diaz, president of Toyota Motor Sales and Lexus de Mexico, welcomed to Mexico the LC500, which was launched in 2016 in the United States and has had a great acceptance, having an "exceptional" design, performance and technology.

He specified that although this model was born in 2016, Lexus has maintained a continuous improvement and as part of its philosophy the LC 500 has evolved, which is reflected in this 2024 model that they are bringing to Mexico.

The LC 500 is already available on order and may take 3 months, since it is a unit that will come directly from Toyota and Lexus' Motomachi plant in Japan.

Mexico has been one of the lucky ones to have this model, since a limited number of countries have this vehicle in their market.

With the arrival of the LC 500, Mexico now has three of the brand's flagship models available: the Lexus LS, LX and LC.
