Lime from Colima entering Dubai and Moscow

By the end of the year, Colima will start exporting lime to the City of Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. Traders interested on this fruit would pay up to US$6 per kilogram, informed the President of the National Committee Product System Mexican Lime (CONASIPROLIM), Oscar Avalos Verdugo. He explained that the first test shipments have been sent, but negotiations are underway and they will start with 5,000 monthly tons. Another target market is Moscow, Russia, where up to US$7.5 per kilogram are offered, meeting certain requirements, and 350 tons per month will be sent initially.
