Logistics center, a need in Puebla

Due to the increase of 200% in the cost of industrial lands, by reaching US$81 a square meter, the construction of a much needed logistics center has not been consolidated yet, with a vision to attract more companies to Puebla, primarily for the automotive sector. Fernando Martinez Canseco, director of the Puebla Association of Industries, commented that Puebla needs to have this type of nodes to help make the production efficient, with the auto parts sector as the main interested party. Additionally, auto part companies are now suppliers for other assemblers in Mexico, said Carlos Fernandez, president of CANACINTRA.
