Guanajuato's manufacturing industry maintains its growth levels nationally, with the automotive industry topping growth records in the State. By the end of October 2016, the automotive sector grew 67.90% compared to the total value of October 2014's production. The Manufacturing Industry Monthly Survey places Guanajuato in the second spot nationally with US$14 billion, which represents 17% of the production in Mexico.
