Mars Mexico to open second plant in Queretaro

Mars Mexico is now getting ready to open its second plant in the state,  dedicated to the segment Mars Petcare (pet food production), with plans to start operations by mid 2018 in the metropolitan municipality of El Marques. The firm expects to uphold 500 direct and indirect jobs by 2020. The goal for this plant is to have 50% of its work force made up by women, a scheme that has been embraced in the production center in Guadalajara. This new plant will have an estimated investment of US$50 million.
