Mayors in the border, in favor of continuing the NAFTA

Mayors from the Mexico-US borderland advised that the North America Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) must continue, in order to strengthen the economic development in towns along both sides of the border, with friendly ties extending for over 20 years. The leaders were reunited in the framework of the 2017 Mission to Washington, organized by the San Diego, California Chamber of Commerce. In this reunion, Mayors of Tijuana, Imperial Beach, Mexicali and Nogales, vowed to coordinate their efforts to so that the needs of the borderland regions be considered by decision makers from the center of their Country.
