Mercosur looking to negotiate with Mexico and China
Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay and Paraguay agreed to restart the pending negotiations with China, which have stalled for over a decade, confirmed the Argentinean chancellor Susana Malcorra. She considers China a Country which is nowadays playing a major role in the word, and the fact that South America is facing the opportunity of establishing an agreement with China is something remarkable. Mexico is another objective to target, to make the most out of the eventual commercial breakup with the U.S. and the NAFTA. Malcorra confirmed that a delegation from Mexico will soon visit Buenos Aires to discuss an agricultural agenda.
