Metal-mechanic, an area opportunity for national providers

Rene Mendoza, national coordinator of the Supply Chain of the Mexican Industry (CAPIM), underscored the need of encouraging the participation of local companies in the supply chain for productive activity. He mentions that the metal-mechanic is one of the sectors that have gained the most strength, along with machining, die-cut, stamping and aluminum injection businesses.  Moreover, Queretaro's Secretary of Sustainable development, Marco Antonio del Prete Tercero, said that Mexican companies might cover between 80 and 85% of supply chain related to indirect services and maintenance, repair and operation (MRO).
