The Mexican Association of Automotive Distributors (AMDA) slightly adjusted its sales forecast for this year from 1,665,000 units to 1,615,000 vehicles.

AMDA general director, Guillermo Rosales Zarate, said that this adjustment still leads to a positive result compared to the closing of 2016, when it totaled 1,603,000 units, although the figure is far from the initial forecast for 2017 which had been located at 1.7 million units.

The official stressed that sales of 131,000 vehicles are expected for the month of September.
