Mexican Handcrafted Exports by Cactus Canyon Ceramics

The Guanajuato Foreign Trade Promotion Agency (Cofoce) has partnered with the U.S. company Cactus Canyon Ceramics with the goal of connecting 11 artisan workshops in Dolores Hidalgo with new markets.Cactus Canyon Ceramics is looking to develop Mexican suppliers to meet the growing demand across its various sales channels.

This U.S. brand specializes in selling handmade and ceramic products through various sales channels, including Amazon, Walmart, social media, and its website.

The initiative aims to strengthen the competitiveness and growth of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Guanajuato by supporting the development and expansion of greater economic opportunities through the globalization of the artisan market.

During the company’s buyer’s visit to the organization, he was able to see firsthand the production capacity and value proposition of the participating workshops, which showcased handcrafted pieces with export potential. He also highlighted the excellent organization of the processes and the readiness to meet the requirements of the international market.

It is important to emphasize that among the criteria required by Cactus Canyon Ceramics are lead-free manufacturing processes, strict quality controls, consumer safety, and the ability to fulfill orders.
