Mexican plastic molder Fischer to open new plant in Celaya

Fischer S.A. de C.V., a Mexican manufacturer of plastic components with operations in the state of Veracruz plans to build its second production facility in the state of Guanajuato, Plastic News reported.Â
Construction work will start by March at the Amistad Chuy MarĂa industrial park in the municipality of Celaya.
With the new plant, Fischer aims to increase its business as supplier of components for the automotive industry.
The company has provided plastic components such as thermostat housings for Tier 1 suppliers that serve automakers like General Motors, Ford, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Volkswagen and Mazda.
Neither the amount of investment to be allocated at the new plant nor the number of job positions to be opened were revealed.
