Mexico and Germany maintaining aerospace collaboration in 2017

The Space Mexican Agency (AEM) affirmed that the joint work with the German aerospace agency will continue, with the objective of growing the aerospace sector in Mexico, as well as the knowledge and technology transfer. The Mexican aerospace sector has been recognized for its two-digit sustained growth rates and its 325 companies, which support 45,000 jobs. Javier Mendieta Jimenez, Director of AEM, reasserted that Mexico is an attractive investment destination for the aerospace sector, as well as Telecommunications and Information Technologies (IT). These three sectors converge in the space development, offering fertile grounds for a successful exchange with Germany and its aerospace agency in the framework of the Dual Year 2016-2017.
