Authorities from Mexico and from Quebec, Canada, had a reunion to boost the commercial relation and investment for the agricultural sector, as the Northern Country is interested in buying a larger volume of Mexican products, such as beer, coffee, blueberries, raspberries, fruit, produce and pork meat. The coordinator of International Affairs of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Development, Fisheries and Food (SAGARPA), Raul Urteaga Trani, had a meeting with the Quebec's Agriculture Minister, Laurent Lessard. During the reunion, the leaders agreed that there is a great area of opportunity to increase the agri-food products commerce, and now more than ever, when a greater number of direct passenger and cargo flights has been established between Montreal and Mexico City, as well as better logistics for both sea and land transport.
