Mexico, looking for new export destinations

In the face of protectionist global discourse, Mexico reasserts its commitment to the free trade and is looking for new export markets, such as Europe, said the Sub secretary of Foreign Relations, Carlos De Icaza. During the 2017 French-Mexican Business Forum, he explained that this is a great opportunity to diversify the exportation of national products to France and other countries in Europe. Regarding the waiting time for the renegotiation of the NAFTA (North America's Free Trade Agreement), De Icaza trusts that reason will prevail and the commercial relation will continue with the US, but diversification must be sought after, as well as capital investment from other markets.
