Mexico has become a key player in the Latin American and global aviation industry, and a leader in manufacturing for all industry stages, form design and engineering to assembly, reconversion, maintenance and recycling. It is the sixth largest aviation parts supplier for the U.S., and has the fourth largest private jet fleet in the world. An airplane carrying Mexican technology takes off every two minutes. A large part of the turbines for the world´s largest aircraft, the Airbus A380, is built here. General Electric has its largest design and research center in Queretaro.
