Mexico-U.S. commerce improving
The dynamism of the Mexican economy is due to a renovated upturn in exports to the U.S. Manufacturing exports had a 7.3% increase from January to April 2017, compared to a shrinking of 4.3% over the same period in 2016. Regarding the automotive sector, it had a growth rate of 7.5%, with a 3.1% downfall one year ago. Therefore, manufacturing exports, which represent nearly 90% of total exports, are revitalized. Vehicle exports have increased by 14.6% between January and April 2017.
