The arrival of German company BHTC into the Poligono Empresarial Industrial Park in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, along with two other Tier 2 suppliers, brings about a competitive advantage not found anywhere else in the world. These companies manufacture control modules for air conditioning for Audi, BMW, Volkswagen and GM, among others. This municipality is consolidating its industrial growth with the "historic" inauguration of the German companies BHTC, Rafi Syscom Mexico and Langer Molds and Tools, affirmed the Governor of the State, Miguel Marquez Marquez. The Governor reports it is small industrial firms that sustain the economy in the State of Guanajuato, as they contribute 51% of the State's Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
