Japanese firm Midori Auto Leather exerted a US$ 28 million investment to set the first stone of its third plant in San Luis Potosi, thus generating 1,100 jobs during its initial stage with a goal to reach 2,000 associates.  The Japanese company is currently using 60% of its raw material from local sources. The complementary area to be built will support an increase of 50% in the production line starting in 2018. The new Midori Auto Leather plant will be located at the WorldTrade Center industrial park.
