MEXICO – The new MINI Cooper SE makes its debut in the Mexican market, being the first fully electric vehicle to be marketed by the British premium brand.

Under the Electric Love campaign and with the hashtag #Chargedwithpassion, the presale takes place on the site: in which 100 lucky ones will vibrate with the spark of the first units to arrive in our country.

The arrival of the MINI Cooper SE marks the beginning of a new all-electric era that combines fun handling and expressive design, characteristic of the brand, with sustainable mobility and zero local emissions.

The model-specific 32.6 kWh gross capacity lithium-ion battery provides a range of up to 270 kilometers, perfect for comfortable city driving. The high-voltage battery is installed in the floor of the vehicle, ensuring that there are no limitations in terms of trunk volume compared to the conventional MINI 3-Door.

The MINI Cooper SE arrives in Mexico only in the Iconic version. It will be available only in the colors White Silver and Midnight Black. The model combines its exterior paint with 17' wheels in MINI Electric Power Spoke Bi-Tone design and front and rear LED headlights with Union Jack design.

The interior of the MINI Cooper SE is modern, elegant and perfectly complements the fun personality of the model. The quality of the Cross Punch Leather in Carbon Black, the vehicle will also feature a Nappa leather sports steering wheel with multifunction buttons and MINI Electric logo. On the other hand, the MINI Driving Modes: Sport, Mid, Green and Green + are also available, as well as the Comfort Access.

Connectivity tools include an 8.8" central touchscreen, Apple Car Play, the MINI navigation system including real-time traffic information and telephony with wireless charging.

The MINI App also offers new services for the MINI Cooper SE: it provides an improved overview of electric range, charging status and charging history. With the app's charging and weather timer, customers can optimize the charging process by defining specific time windows and departure times.
