MZT Aerospace Park to open in mid-2024
MAZATLAN, SIN - MZT Aerospace (Mazatlán Aerospace), the new high-tech industrial park, will be inaugurated in mid-2024, not only redefining Mexico's technological capabilities, but also marking a milestone in the commitment to sustainable development in the country, said Lino Suárez, general manager of this Aerospace Park.
This ambitious project is destined to be the first Green Industrial Community in Latin America with LEED certification endorsed by the USGBC in Washington.
"MZT Aerospace symbolizes a unique fusion of innovation and environmental responsibility," said Suárez.
This new Aerospace park, unique in Mexico, is projected to be the epicenter of technological and operational progress in the country. With a private runway of up to 2.7 kilometers and equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to receive MRO, FBO, aircraft aesthetic beautification facilities, laboratories and complete aircraft manufacturing.
MZT Aerospace is much more than an industrial complex; its role in the Mexican Federation of the Aerospace Industry (FEMIA) and its active participation in the FAMEX expo, with the support of the Government of Sinaloa, CIT and the municipality of Mazatlán, emphasize its strategic relevance and commitment to the sector.
"Mexico is already among the top ten countries in aerospace investment and has one of the largest private air fleets in the world," explains its director.
MZT Aerospace enhances this position by enabling the complete production of aircraft with domestic components, a significant step towards self-sufficiency and innovation in the sector.
