Natura Industrial Park arrives in Tijuana

TIJUANA, BC - With a historic investment of US$8.8 billion and a commitment to generate 27,000 direct jobs, the “Parque Industrial Natura” project, an ambitious development that seeks to boost the region's economy and meet the growing demand for industrial space in the maquiladora sector, officially got underway.

The launching event was presided over by the Governor of the State, Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda, who highlighted that this macro-project, with more than 180 hectares and 24 industrial buildings, will mark a before and after for the southern area of Tijuana.

“We are generating not only direct jobs, but also a development engine that will position Baja California as a leader in industrial infrastructure,” she said.

The Mayor of Tijuana, Ismael Burgueño Ruiz, attended the presentation and underscored the importance of this investment, assuring that the project is a reflection of the joint work between the state and municipal governments and the business sector.

“With the leadership of our Governor, the economic development of Baja California continues to advance, and from the Municipal Government we are committed to eliminate barriers that affect business operations,” he said.

Burgueño emphasized that his administration promotes measures such as regulatory improvement and the implementation of a digital government, key tools to streamline procedures and ensure greater transparency in public management.

“These actions not only benefit entrepreneurs, but also ensure well-paying jobs and a better quality of life for Tijuana families,” he concluded.

The Natura Industrial Park is led by businessmen Carlo Enrique Múzquiz Dávila, from Grupo Musa, and Luis Enrique Terrazas Seyffer, from Grupo Ruba. Both highlighted that this development will not only meet the needs of the maquiladora companies, but will also be a fundamental pillar for the local economy.

With this start-up, Tijuana reaffirms its commitment to economic and social progress, positioning itself as a key point for investment and industrial development in Mexico.
