Tecate is looking to reach 70 countries in the world, after becoming the second Mexican brand in the Heineken global portfolio, according a statement from the CEO of the Company in Mexico, Dolf van den Brink, during an interview with Notimex. The executive said that the Dutch company stands by the Mexico undertaking, regarding investment, infrastructure and innovation, as well as talent and brands. The new plant in Meoqui, Chihuahua is now over 50% complete and is expected to start operations by late 2017. Additionally, he remarked another investment made by the Company in Hermosillo Sonora, valued at US$ 2.5 million for new offices and a distribution center.
