NL and Coahuila competing for an auto part plant

Nuevo Leon and Coahuila are competing to attract investment to manufacture automotive parts for the firm based out of Germany, Audi. These pieces for one of Audi's models are currently produced in India, but the company is considering to make them in Saltillo or Monterrey and then ship them to Italy, to be assembled in the vehicle. As much as 62% of the members of the Mexican-German Chamber of Commerce, are interested in increasing their investment in Mexico. The goal is to connect companies from the technology and the manufacturing sector that are interested in creating synergy to become positioned in Mexico or in Nuevo Leon industrial zones.
