++gis++ GIS moves boilers manufacture to Saltillo

Monterrey, Mexico.- Grupo Industrial Saltillo (GIS) will transfer the manufacture of water boilers previously being made at their Iztapalapa Plant, in Mexico City, to their plant located in Saltillo, Coahuila, which will mean an investment for US$3 million. 
In a notice sent to the Mexican Stock Exchange, Bolsa Mexicana de Valores, the company explained they will expand and modernize their facilities in Saltillo, to manufacture boilers with state-of-the-art technology to meet demand in both, domestic and export markets. 
The notice further states that expanded capacity will also be supported with efficient distribution mechanisms, to strengthen the service provided to retailers network and final consumers of these products. 
“Therefore, all of the production operations previously carried out by Water Boilers Division in Iztapalapa, Mexico City is being transferred to the plant located in Saltillo, Coahuila”, the notice states.
