++cat++ Caterpillar will increase production in Coahuila
Saltillo, Coahuila.- Caterpillar plant in Ciudad Acuña will increase production between 45% and 50%, which will translate into 430 new jobs, mainly in the welding area.Hector Horacio Davila Rodriguez, Representative of the Ministry of the Economy, informed that Caterpillar plant produces heavy cargo vehicles with capacity of up to 200 tons; these units do not travel the highways, but are used for coal and iron haulage, among other materials.
This plant’s production, exported to China and India, currently assembles six units per week, and plans are to increase such production to 9 or 10, to which purpose they require more personnel.
