++labinal++ Labinal starts a new stage in Chihuahua

Chihuahua.- Safran Labinal Group inaugurated the expansion of their design center located at the corporation’s Plant 3, where US$5 million were invested and 120 engineers will work on the design of electric systems and structures. 
The Design Center will occupy 4,500 square feet, providing support to new aerospace engineering business. 
With this new infrastructure the company will have three electric systems harnesses manufacturing plants and a state-of-the-art design center, with a total labor force of 3,250 people. 
Safran is a French corporation with almost 60,000 employees all over the world, which generated sales for €11.7 billion in 2011. 
Safran has consolidated its presence in Mexico throughout 20 years as a first level stakeholder, performing activities on aeronautics, defense and safety. It was the first company from this branch to arrive at Chihuahua in 1998.
