++daimler++ Daimler will increase production in Mexico

Monterrey, Mexico.- Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) announced yesterday plans to increase both, production and labor force in its plants in the USA and Mexico by the second half of this year. For their operations here plans are to start hiring and open a third shift, creating 511 new jobs. 
Daimler has a plant located in Saltillo, where, according to a press release, the assembler started early this month recruiting 479 workers, in addition to 32 white-collar positions, adding to 511 jobs. This plant produces Freighliner Cascadia trucks, which are sold in Canada, United States and Mexico.
The announcement made by Daimler takes place amidst an environment of greater dynamism, experienced this year not only by automobiles production in Mexico but also by the domestic auto parts industry.
