++nuevoleon++ Biodiesel plant being built in NL
Monterrey, Mexico.- With an investment of almost MXP$5 million, the Monterrey-based company Solven will have a brand new biodiesel plant in January 2012, with capacity to produce 5,000 liters of biofuel daily, in addition to another scale plant which will generate 400 liters per day.However, at least at the beginning, the main purpose of these plants will not be producing biofuel for sale, but to show how it works, clear out doubts and gain customers.
“The purpose is to continue researching the new prototypes and new technologies we are developing, to start testing them at a greater scale and then be in the position to show this technology”, Mauricio Paredes, Commercial Director for Solben, explained.
