++oma++ OMA will invest US$6 million in Industrial Park
Monterrey, Mexico.- The airports administration consortium, Grupo Aeroportuario del Centro Norte (OMA) will start urbanizing a plot of land adjoining Monterrey International Airport, where they will invest US$6 million to build and industrial park.According to an analysis made by Banco Bx+ the first industrial building in the Park will be ready by December 2013.
Marco Medina, Analyst with Banco Bx+, explained that the development of this type of projects allows diversifying and increasing OMA’s income from non-aeronautic sources.
He added that the company is also considering building hotels, cargo and logistics facilities, convenience stores, malls and offices to use non-aeronautic space inside their 13 airports.
