Mexicali, Baja California,- The Minister of Economic Development, Alejandro Mungaray Lagarda, said that the announcement of the investment soon to be made by Rubenius in Mexicali for US$4 billion – made today by President Felipe Calderon during Green Solutions event – is encouraging and when it materializes will foster investments in renewable energies at the State; in addition, the State will set a position with a one-of-a-kind power storage center in Mexico.According to the announcement made, Rubenius will invest US$4 billion within the next seven years in a renewable power conservation and reserve park in Mexicali. Minister Mungaray further added that this will be a significant economic contribution, to be generated by the investment and the creation of 200 high value jobs, plus the indirect jobs generated to provide services and supply several goods.
