++baja_california++ Big expansion in Mexicali
Baja California, Mexico.- NSG Group has announced plans for an important investment in Mexicali, increasing their operation capacity by 30%.The US$15 million investment will increase production to around 2.5 billion windshields per year, to serve both replacement and original equipment markets.
The new facilities will be located in a leased building, only 50 meters from the existing plant; kickoff is expected to take place early in 2012, creating around 160 new jobs.
The new 9,569 square meters (103,000 sq. Ft.) will be located by the other plant the company currently has in Mexicali, with very good access by highway and ample parking space; it also has loading and unloading ramps.
