Novem Car Interior Design to invest more than US$15.5 million in Querétaro

Novem Car Interior Design, a company specializing in the production of design products and interior solutions, will invest more than US$15.5 million in the expansion of its plant in Querétaro.

This investment was announced during a meeting between the company's executives and Marco Antonio Del Prete Tercero, Secretary of Sustainable Development of Querétaro, held during the Hannover Messe in Germany.

The expansion project is expected to generate 150 highly specialized jobs. Also present at the meeting was Robert Krichenbauer, Development Manager of the German firm, who shared details about the expansion, which aims to increase production capabilities at the company’s facility located in the Querétaro Industrial Park. From this site, Novem manufactures decorative interior components for vehicles.

“Novem is a German company established in Querétaro, and they bring good news for our state and their local operations. We are discussing expansion projects and how to scale up the production capacity of their plant in our state,” said.

For his part, Robert Krichenbauer, CEO of the company, stated that Novem is globally recognized for its ability to integrate high-quality materials such as wood, aluminum, carbon fiber, synthetics, and textiles into products that stand out not only for their aesthetics but also for their technology and innovation.

Novem is a German company specialized in manufacturing design products and interior solutions, primarily for the automotive industry. Its presence in Querétaro is a strategic move aimed at serving the North American automotive market, leveraging its proximity to key car manufacturers in the region.
