Nuclear energy will be available until 2030 in Mexico

The generation of electricity with nuclear energy is increasing in Mexico and it is estimated that by 2030 this source will be available in the country.

"The National Electric System Development Program considers a repowering of the Laguna Verde power plant, more or less equivalent to the growth we have today," commented Efraín Villanueva, general director of Energías Limpias de la Secretaría de Energía (Sener).
