Nuevo Leon and CFE jointly invest US$5 million

NUEVO LEON  The government of Nuevo León signed a collaboration agreement with the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE), to invest US$ 5 million in 194 electric power projects, which will benefit 8,265 inhabitants of 36 municipalities.

The agreement was signed by Governor Jaime Rodríguez Calderón; the manager of the North Gulf Division of the CFE, Ricardo Sandoval Ortega and the minister of State Development, Gerardo Alanís de la Fuente.

The governor stated that 99.20% of electric power coverage in the state will be achieved due to this settlement.

In addition, the manager of the North Gulf Division of the CFE, commented that in the 2017-2018 program, almost US$6 million were invested in 62 electrification works.

This time, the municipalities that will be benefited are: Agualeguas, Anáhuac, Aramberri, Bustamante, Cadereyta, Cerralvo, Ciénega de Flores, China, Doctor Arroyo, Doctor Coss, Galeana, García, General Terán, General Zaragoza.
