Government representatives from the U.S., Mexico and Canada agree on maintaining open markets in the agricultural sector, as well as being transparent so that commerce keeps growing, informed the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Development, Fisheries and Food (SAGARPA). The head of SAGARPA, Jose Calzada Rovirosa; the representative from Canada, Lawrence MacAulay and the representative from the U.S., Sonny Perdue, issued a declaration mentioning that these countries are connected geographically by a deep integration of the agri-food sector. “Our commercial relation is vital for the economy and the population in our respective countries. We are working to support and create employment in these three nations”.
